Food Preservation Classes (Click to Expand)
Come join us for a great learning opportunity designed to teach how to can, dehydrate and freeze your fruits, vegetables and herbs safely. You will learn food preservation by strict USDA and University standards to prevent contamination by bacteria, molds, yeast, and other foodborne illnesses, including Clostridium botulinum. You will learn how to safely use a water bath canner, pressure canner, and a dehydrator. The last class will concentrate on emergency food and water storage and how to purify water from a questionable source.

Ethnic Cooking Class (Click to Expand)
Classes will be held on Sunday evenings from 5:00pm to 6:30 pm, between March 7, 2021 and July 11, 2021. Classes are open to the church family and the community, and they are free. Recipes are available for all dishes that are demonstrated, and samples are also available for tasting.
